Two families
and one passion
for the land

Meet Chris and Angela Field

“Chris and I were both born into sheep farming families dating back to the mid-1800s. From rearing livestock to harvesting crops, our roots in agriculture and innate understanding of the land run deep.

Sustainability is a key focus at our family-run farms. Working closely with agronomists, we mindfully plan crop selection, rotation, fertiliser and pest control to bring you premium products while safeguarding the future of our planet.

As founding members of the Pyrenees Hay Processors Co-operative, we value transparency and quality control through every step of our supply chain. By doing things right, we produce hay and grain for happy cows and satisfied customers across our beautiful country.

With your support, we can carry on our family farming legacy and play our part in the farmer to farmer movement. That’s sacred to us.”

Chrisela Estate

Chrisela Estate is our primary broadacre farm located in Avoca. Vetch and Oaten hay grow alongside wheat, barley, lentils, oats, faba beans and canola.

Visitors are greeted by Lilly, our beloved farm dog and Chief Crop Inspection Officer. She’ll proudly take you on a tour of the paddocks, hay shed and silos.

‘Woodburn’ Est 1873

‘Woodburn’ 1873 is a historic property located in Cope Cope, first farmed in 1873 by the Dunstan family. Today it is home to our second broadacre farm.

Crops include Oaten hay, Vetch hay, wheat, barley, faba beans, canola, oats and lentils.

Around the farm you will stumble across hay sheds, silos and extraordinary sunsets.
